happy birthday, i heart faces!

i heart faces turns one this week with a "Best Face Photo" contest. They wanted a recent face pic, so I chose this one that I took today of my son and "the pester." My dog Symon drives us all crazy with his incessant kisses (most of the time it is because he has to go potty 5 minutes after he just went out!). I love how Max is trying to ignore Symon and play with his shoe. And of course, I love that little face!

I love sock monkeys and my son does now too since his nursery is decorated with sock monkey stuff! :) This was his Halloween costume, but I didn't have time to get great pics, so we had a little shoot the other day. More to come!

My son and I had such a blast at the pumpkin patch this year! I don't remember ever seeing one like this; thought it was pretty cool. Max was captivated by it, as his intense gaze shows. ;) Check out more "autumn beauty" entries at i heart faces!

I noticed my son's eyes in the window light while he was eating and had to capture it! This is just so him. He has always been the cutest little thumb sucker, and he is so intuitive. Since he was born, I've felt like he understands the people he interacts with. That is why I LOVE this photo.
